Our Luxemburgensia collection brings together films from Luxembourg, (co-)produced by Luxembourg or related to Luxembourg. Rewarding and full of surprises! Although small in terms of surface area, Luxembourg has earned its place in the world of cinema, with its own industry, and also collaborating in French, Belgian and German productions due to its privileged geographical and cultural position. Since the end of the 1980s, support for film production has increased with the creation of a regulatory framework and a support fund, the Luxembourg Film Fund. In collaboration with the BNL (National Library of Luxembourg), the Cité Bibliothèque and the Centre National de l'Audiovisuel (CNA), filmfriend continues to develop the Luxemburgensia collection.
