R U THERE is the story of Jitze, a professional gamer who travels the world to take part in video game tournaments. During a stay in Taipei, he unexpectedly witnesses an accident that confronts him with his own mortality and makes him doubt his existence. When he meets a Taiwanese girl who attracts him, he only succeeds in getting closer to her in Second Life, which only increases his doubts.
